Roy DeGiovanni
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. DeGiovanni is an accomplished leader in the chemical engineering and construction industries, bringing over 25 years of experience to the role of CEO at IDEA. With a strong foundation in both construction and engineering, he has a comprehensive understanding of process development and optimization, safety regulations, and sustainability practices. After serving in the Army, Mr. DeGiovanni furthered his expertise by obtaining a Master's degree in Construction Management from Central Connecticut. This unique combination of education, field and life experience equips him with the skills to effectively manage complex projects that bridge the gap between engineering innovation and construction execution. As CEO of IDEA, Mr. DeGiovanni is dedicated to promoting engineering excellence, sustainable practices, and innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the industry. He is committed to developing talent within the organization and building strong partnerships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Alicia Chasse
Chief Operating Officer
With 25 years of experience in operational leadership at IDEA, Ms. Chasse has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to driving business growth, efficiency, and innovation across diverse industries. As a seasoned executive, she brings a deep understanding of the complexities of scaling operations, optimizing processes, and fostering a high-performance culture that aligns with organizational goals. Ms. Chasse has a proven track record in overseeing large-scale company operations, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and implementing transformative strategies that have led to improved profitability, customer satisfaction, and market positioning. Her expertise spans across supply chain management, process optimization, strategic planning, and risk management, enabling organizations to adapt and thrive in an ever-changing business environment.
Wallace Reinecke
Principal
Mr. Reinecke has over 35 years of experience in the specialty chemical and pharmaceutical industries. For over ten years he managed a 75-man design/engineering group comprised of instrumentation, civil/structural, architectural, layout/piping, electrical power, HVAC and construction disciplines. Throughout his career he has also acted as a Project Manager/Director on numerous chemical and pharmaceutical projects. He has demonstrated the ability to manage both people and projects. Mr. Reinecke has also been a guest lecturer on the topics of project and construction management for the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE).
Thomas Hustek, PE
Principal
Mr. Hustek is a graduate chemical engineer with 30 years experience in the specialty chemical, polymer and pharmaceutical industries. His background is very strong in chemical unit operations and as such he has demonstrated his ability to conceive, develop, evaluate and implement new process concepts for a variety of projects. He has also been a guest lecturer on the subjects of air toxics destruction and solvent emission abatement. Mr. Hustek has responsibility for all technical aspects of the company, with specific emphasis on conceptual development at IDEA. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Connecticut.

Richard Gregoire, PE
Principal
Mr. Gregoire is a graduate chemical engineer with over 25 years experience in the specialty chemical, pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries. His background encompasses the full range of process and project engineering activities. Mr. Gregoire has lectured at Interphex in Controlling Solvent Emissions from Process Vents. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Connecticut as well as numerous other states. Mr. Gregoire has responsibility for various process engineering and code review activities performed at IDEA.
Paul Mancuso, PE, CxA
Principal
Mr. Mancuso is a graduate electrical engineer with more than 30 years experience in the specialty chemical, pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries. His background includes virtually all aspects of Instrumentation and controls engineering/design as well as project engineering and business development for major engineering firms. He has also been a guest lecturer on the subjects of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and field instrumentation for a number of educational institutions and is currently licensed in CT, NY, NC and AZ. Mr. Mancuso has overall responsibility for all electrical and instrument/controls work at IDEA.

Jeremy Latterman, PE
MEP/FP Manager
Mr. Latterman currently oversees the MEP division of IDEA and is responsible for all aspects of MEP design. As a Mechanical Engineer, Mr. Latterman has over 20 years of experience in HVAC and controls systems in small- and large-scale projects, including industrial, commercial, education, institutional, medical, and residential sectors. Jeremy also has extensive experience in fast-paced tenant fit-out projects, as well as ground up construction/large scale renovations. Mr. Latterman started his work in the MEP field as a controls contractor designing control systems for hospitals and transitioned into the consulting engineering role where he has been for the previous 20 years.

Zachary Bruder
MEP Engineer
Mr. Bruder is a recent graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. As a Mechanical Engineer at IDEA, Zachary brings a strong foundation in mechanical systems and design, along with hands-on experience from academic projects and internships, as well as a strong work ethic and energetic enthusiasm for engineering. Passionate about the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) industry, he is eager to apply his knowledge to solve complex engineering challenges and contribute to innovative solutions at IDEA.
Brad Hulse
CAD Drafter
Mr. Hulse has a career span of more than 27 years with IDEA as a Network Administrator managing the company’s network infrastructure, file management and backup systems. His responsibilities include hardware maintenance & repairs, database management as well as design. Mr. Hulse also has 40 years of CAD experience (Drafting & Layout, Customization, Management, Instruction), AutoCAD, MicroStation, CAD Worx Smart PID - Help Desk support.
