Roy DeGiovanni
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. DeGiovanni is an accomplished leader in the chemical engineering and construction industries, bringing over 25 years of experience to the role of CEO at IDEA. With a strong foundation in both construction and engineering, he has a comprehensive understanding of process development and optimization, safety regulations, and sustainability practices. After serving in the Army, Mr. DeGiovanni furthered his expertise by obtaining a Master's degree in Construction Management from Central Connecticut. This unique combination of education, field and life experience equips him with the skills to effectively manage complex projects that bridge the gap between engineering innovation and construction execution. As CEO of IDEA, Mr. DeGiovanni is dedicated to promoting engineering excellence, sustainable practices, and innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the industry. He is committed to developing talent within the organization and building strong partnerships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Her expertise spans across supply chain management, process optimization, strategic planning, and risk management, enabling organizations to adapt and thrive in an ever-changing business environment.
Wallace Reinecke
Principal
Mr. Reinecke has over 35 years of experience in the specialty chemical and pharmaceutical industries. For over ten years he managed a 75-man design/engineering group comprised of instrumentation, civil/structural, architectural, layout/piping, electrical power, HVAC and construction disciplines. Throughout his career he has also acted as a Project Manager/Director on numerous chemical and pharmaceutical projects. He has demonstrated the ability to manage both people and projects. Mr. Reinecke has also been a guest lecturer on the topics of project and construction management for the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE).
Thomas Hustek, PE
Principal
Mr. Hustek is a graduate chemical engineer with 30 years experience in the specialty chemical, polymer and pharmaceutical industries. His background is very strong in chemical unit operations and as such he has demonstrated his ability to conceive, develop, evaluate and implement new process concepts for a variety of projects. He has also been a guest lecturer on the subjects of air toxics destruction and solvent emission abatement. Mr. Hustek has responsibility for all technical aspects of the company, with specific emphasis on conceptual development at IDEA. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Connecticut.

Richard Gregoire, PE
Principal
Mr. Gregoire is a graduate chemical engineer with over 25 years experience in the specialty chemical, pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries. His background encompasses the full range of process and project engineering activities. Mr. Gregoire has lectured at Interphex in Controlling Solvent Emissions from Process Vents. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Connecticut as well as numerous other states. Mr. Gregoire has responsibility for various process engineering and code review activities performed at IDEA.
Paul Mancuso, PE, CxA
Principal
Mr. Mancuso is a graduate electrical engineer with more than 30 years experience in the specialty chemical, pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries. His background includes virtually all aspects of Instrumentation and controls engineering/design as well as project engineering and business development for major engineering firms. He has also been a guest lecturer on the subjects of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and field instrumentation for a number of educational institutions and is currently licensed in CT, NY, NC and AZ. Mr. Mancuso has overall responsibility for all electrical and instrument/controls work at IDEA.

Nicholas Norberg, PE
Process Engineer
Mr. Norberg has more than five years of experience in process design and engineering. Mr. Norberg has worked on all aspects of specialty chemical and manufacturing facilities including commissioning, validation and factory acceptance tests. His specific areas of design expertise include plant design and safety studies. Mr. Norberg’s attention to detail and creativity allows him to have a meaningful impact on the projects he works on. Mr. Norberg is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Connecticut. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a B.A. in German Studies from the University of Connecticut.

Jim Macci, PE
Sr. Process Engineer
Mr. Macci is a licensed Professional Engineer with over 30-years of experience in various responsibilities and roles; Engineering Manager, Consultant, Process and Control systems engineer. Employed both as a Consultant and Sr. Manufacturing Engineer that has covered all aspects of chemical process and control system design, pharmaceutical startup, commissioning and validation of OSHA & PSM regulated systems. Mr. Macci has engineering skills that focus on Process Operation, Instrumentation and Control System design, startup and validation support to increase productivity, manufacturing and optimization.
Scott Setesak
Process Engineer
Mr. Setesak has more than 30 years’ experience in the chemical engineering design field. His technical specialties include process engineering (including heat and material balances, flow sheet design, process development, pilot plant design, and evaluation of new equipment and technologies for specialty chemical, pharmaceutical and polymer manufacturers), Process Safety Management (PSM), air pollution control and hazardous air pollutant release modeling.
Sam Gonski
Process Engineer
Mr. Gonski is a Process Chemical Engineer with experience in technical project leadership, process optimization, equipment design, risk analysis, and process safety. Since joining IDEA, Mr. Gonski has contributed to a wide range of projects, driving efficiency and safety improvements across various engineering processes. Mr. Gonski has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Mr. Gonski is passionate about applying engineering principles to solve complex challenges and continuously improve industrial processes.
